The Pigreco armchair is a poetic work by Tobia Scarpa. The dining chair, which is Scapia's first work, was designed as early as 1959 and is today produced by Tacchini. Pigreco exudes a harmony between straight and curved lines and forms are created both through materiality and voids to give a sense of space to an otherwise static object. The different shapes contribute with both dynamism, strength and lightness.
